Jomo through the years
Establishment of Jomo BV (specializing in knitwear) and Jojo BV (specializing in woven clothing) in Enschede, with production facilities in Eastern Europe. Jomo and Jojo specialize in baby and children’s clothing.
Clothing production is gradually shifting from Eastern Europe to Asia (China, Sri Lanka, Indonesia). Later, production moves (partly) to Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan.
Jojo Fashion and Jomo Fashion will continue under a single name: Jomo Fashion. The separate offices will merge and relocate to the same building.
We are moving to our new office on the Strootsweg in Enschede. Our warehouse operation is being relocated to the new warehouse in Hengelo.
We are celebrating our 50th anniversary as a private-label specialist.
